The Nevada Landscape Association (NLA) was founded in 1990 by a group of Northern Nevada Green Industry professionals who shared some concern over the growing landscape industry and who had the foresight to unite as a single voice for local businesses.

NLA publishes a quarterly magazine Landscape Nevada that targets the marketing and communication needs of our membership.  The publication serves several thousand subscribers including owners, management and professionals throughout the Green Industry.

The NLA and Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) offers landscape professionals the Landscape Industry Certified Technician certification program.  It is a hands on testing program that recognizes landscaping proficiency, and evaluates the landscape worker.
